Who’s your star of 2011? Today we’d like to give you a nudge in the direction of our nominations for The Grocer Cup.
The list of 10 heavyweights spans supermarkets, suppliers, convenience and foodservice. (Wholesalers shouldn’t feel left out, however – last year’s winner was Booker boss Charles Wilson.)
Peter Blakemore and Ranjit Boparan both made a splash with ambitious acquisitions, while Dalton Philips put himself on the map with an assured first year. Or will it finally be the turn of perennial bridesmaid Justin King?
