Moma’s new oat drink is the result of two years of painstaking work by scientists at the brand, who tried and tested more than 250 recipes before landing on the final product. Designed to be used as an alternative to dairy milk in hot drinks, smoothies or by itself, the product is fully foamable and non-splitting to give it that barista quality.

Judges loved the unsweetened aroma and taste, which delivered on its high quality claims, offering a “superb, fresh and oaty taste”. This was complemented by “brilliant” packaging that successfully amplified the story of British oats, leveraging consumer demand for locally sourced ingredients.

Fortified with vitamins D3, B2, B12, iodine and calcium so consumers, whatever their reason for reducing dairy consumption, don’t lose out on essential vitamins and minerals, these health credentials were clearly communicated on pack alongside serving suggestions, which our judges also thought was a great addition.
