Winner: Galaxy Vegan Instant Drink
Once dominated by challenger brands, this vegan instant drink from fmcg behemoth Galaxy exemplifies the big shift of plant-based into a mainstream opportunity. Galaxy has done a great job of targeting this demographic too, with its instant drink following all the convenient cues of its classic non-vegan varieties, i.e. just add water, and still managing to deliver a creamy mouthfeel and chocolatey flavour. First launched in November 2020 the product quickly launched a strong sales performance and attracted highly positive consumer feedback, proving plant-based isn’t only for the specialists.
