What's it like to work for your company? We provide a bespoke, personalised product for each of our customers so no two days are ever the same. This keeps the job exciting, challenging and rewarding.

Why is it a good employer? Employees are encouraged to look at everything in a number of ways and think outside the box. Through this approach we learn something different every day.

What's the best thing about working there? The openness, friendliness and commitment of the people to the business and our customers is an inspiration.

Does the company offer any unusual benefits? The word 'flexibility' cannot be under-emphasised. Everyone has their own individual needs and commitments and, providing the work gets done, at Lincoln & York there is flexibility and openness.

How does the company differ from its rivals? The people. There are many different skill sets within our business, all working together as a team. We have also invested heavily in our factory, with four modern Brambati roasters and 11 packaging lines.

Is there a definable company culture? Integrity and trust are the cornerstones and particularly important as we are working behind the scenes for many high street coffee brands. As part of this trust comes our commitment to quality, of both the product and our customer service. The success of these factors is down to internal openness, honesty and teamwork.

What's the training like? We fully support and train employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and encourage them to take their training to whatever level they wish. If they want to study towards something that would enhance them and the effectiveness of their job, we support it.

Has the company won any awards? Our director, James Sweeting, recently qualified as a Q Grader. This is the first comprehensive professional accreditation for coffee graders and cuppers and there are only 872 Q Graders worldwide.

Are you looking for people right now? We are looking for a sales director and an assistant coffee taster.
