Brennan took one step closer to his goal of making Quorn a $1bn brand in 2015 by securing a £550m sale to Philippine consumer goods company Monde Nissan, a move that opens the doors to the lucrative Asian market. Profits were up almost 50% to £26m in 2014 and sales rose 7% on the back of newly health-conscious consumers and a deal with Starbucks in the US.
