Grampian Country Pork Halls has added a third dish to its range of ready-to-cook meals with a Scottish theme.

Chicken Braemar, chicken breast stuffed with black pudding and with a creamy peppercorn sauce, comes in packs of two (rsp: £5.00).

Anna Findlay, brand marketing manager, said the brand's initial two lines, launched last year, had already done well. The haggis-stuffed chicken Balmoral line had sold more than one million packs, while the beef olive, which has a sausage meat stuffing, has racked up sales of half a million.

"We are delighted that these Halls products have proved so successful with the Scottish consumer."
