Self-fill cashpoint supplier Hanco plans to overtake rivals Moneybox and TRM with a Christmas push of its machines to c-store retailers. Md Terry Turner said: "We want to be putting in at least 150 extra machines a month in the run up to Christmas with our new promotion, which should push us into the number one position in the UK." Under the terms of the offer retailers get a discount on the cash price of the machines, and the lease period is cut from five years to three years. Hanco is also on track to sign up another major convenience chain to its service, with machines already installed across the Bells Stores and Conveco estates. The US founded company, launched in the UK last year and now has 1,150 machines at leisure and convenience outlets here. Some 60% are in c-stores. Rivals Moneybox and TRM have 1,250 and 1,230 respectively. Turner said: "We want to double our presence in the UK in the next two years." {{NEWS }}
