Coors is introducing an on-pack promotion for Irish brew Caffrey's, specifically tailored for specialist off licences and convenience stores. The offer is aimed at making the most of the rise in interest in all things Irish ahead of St Patrick's Day on March 17 and features a free branded glass on eight-packs. The brewer is hoping this will encourage consumers to trade up to the larger packs. Sales director John Holberry said: "The relaunch of the brand last year was a major success and this aims to capitalise on its growing popularity and build up the image of the brand." He said retailers will be urged to flag up the Irish image with dual displays alongside other well known Irish brands such as Guinness. {{DRINKS }}
