Strawberries grown in the Gaza Strip are set to carry their own label for the first time.
Previously sold under Agrexco's Carmel brand, the strawberries will now be marketed as Coral.
Despite the ongoing political situation, Agrexco confirmed the agreement with Gaza growers was still working well.
Meanwhile supplies in the Mediterranean are expected to get back to normality next week following the shortage of labour during the Islamic festival in Egypt and Morocco.
There was also less support from Spain due to the effect of cold weather, according to importer AFI Redbridge, but conditions are improving.
