Andrew Cowan has been named country director for Diageo GB as part of a management restructure.
Cowan, currently commercial director for Ireland, takes up his new role on 1 September and will be responsible for leading the GB spirits and beer business.
David Smith, Diageo GB sales director for the past five years, will become country director for Diageo Ireland. Diageo GB marketing director Philip Gladman becomes category marketing director for white spirits. Category marketing directors have also been appointed for whiskey, beer and Baileys.
