A new business consultancy is to promote flexible working hours to major food and drink companies. Pasfield Curran Associates brings together consultants from the now disbanded PLA partnership which specialised in restructuring working hours. Consultants from PCA have already worked with supermarkets including Tesco and Sainsbury, and major manufacturers including Guinness, Coca-Cola, Nestlé and St Ivel. PCA partner Peter Curran said: "Too many businesses are losing out on the huge untapped potential offered by this sort of flexibility. We intend to help companies gain the full weight of its advantage." He believes flexible working promotes personal development and changes the face of business. Resources can be used more efficiently and attendance and staffing levels matched to irregular demand. Curran added: "We are fortunate to have a team probably unmatched in its experience of flexible working and in its record for implementing successful schemes by helping companies restructure operations at individual sites. "We are asserting new standards in business, bettering not just its delivery to customers, but in creating partnership and respect for the need that everyone has for a decent work/life balance." {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
