French liqueur producer Lejay-Lagoute has launched a violet-scented liqueur in time for the indulgent festive season.
The blue-coloured Violette Parfait Amour is perfect for celebrations and cocktail occasions when mixed with Champagne, according to UK distributor Malcolm Cowen.
The drink (rsp: £9.80) is being rolled out into the UK off-trade - to meet the growing popularity of at-home cocktails - and in style bars.
Pascal Gourmelen, European export manager for Lejay-Lagoute, said: “Parfait Amour and Champagne should be drunk ‘a deux’ by candlelight with your favourite person.”
