Developed in a partnership between Aimia Foods and Masterfoods, Flyte instant hot chocolate drink is the latest Masterfoods countline to become a drink. It follows Galaxy and Maltesers drinks and targets health-conscious 22 to 35-year-old women.
Tracey Yeadon, product and brand manager at Aimia Foods, said Flyte created a new sub-sector of premium, low-carb, low-calorie instant hot chocolate drinks. “There is nothing else like it on the market today,” she said.
It comes in three variants - Chocolate, Chocolate Peppermint & Echinacea and Chocolate Vanilla & Camomile - with an rsp of 39p for a single sachet. All contain 33 calories and four net carbs. The product has listings in Morrisons and 240 Tesco stores.
