Future Publishing is launching two computing specials' this month as brand extensions of its flagship titles MacFormat and PC Plus. Both will sell for a premium cover price and offer covermounted CDs. They will focus on answering technical queries, offering guides, tips and tutorials and helping consumers to get the most out of their computers. The PC Plus brand extension, PC Helpdesk, covers areas such as Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP as well as Microsoft Office and various hardware, software and Internet-related topics. The special comes covermounted with a CD with seven full programs and 60 other utilities and a special 2002 tips feature.
