Garlic is losing its inhibitions and hitting the market naked.Parripak Foods is introducing Naked Garlic, a one kilogram tub of ready peeled garlic aimed initially at foodservice, though a smaller pack for supermarkets may be developed.
Parripak spokesman Dom Pleasance said: "It's perfect for the busy chef. We've done all the peeling, washing and packing so all they need do is slice or dice."
Parripak is now searching for wholesale distributors for the line.
