Tony Hynes takes the helm as chief operating officer of Greencore in April to drive the company's development after its acquisition of Hazlewood Foods. Hynes, formerly md of Green Isle Foods, part of Northern Foods, also takes a place on the Greencore board. At Green Isle, Hynes was responsible for strategic developments, including the disposal of the Pierre's business to IAWS and the acquisition of frozen food company Lacemont. He gained international planning experience working for Essilor International's ophthalmic business in China and France.
