Not only diverse, but exotic, the sector's one of the biggest at the show Bakery's a rising star at IFE where it provides the second largest section this year, attracting exhibitors from all over the world. The bake-off sector is one of the strongest. Country Choice is showing products from its 1,300 strong Bake 'n' Bite range, along with advice on equipment, promotions and technical support. Anton Hauberger has a range of Austrian bake-off products, while Swedish Hearts shortcrust pastry with vanilla custard, are on show from Delicato bakwerk AB. Newly RHM-owned Le Pain Croustillant, which will be baking throughout the show, is showcasing its speciality bread range, as will Cuisine de France. Goswell Bakeries features the Swiss style Vogel brand and Loaves and Fishes Irish soda bread. Bagels is another growing sector, with Bagel Nash showing 20 different flavours, including cheese and jalapeno. The company is also introducing mini and jumbo variants. There is an array of exotic products, including wraps from Mission Foods and long life ciabatta from Nicco Foods. Indian naans and pitta breads feature on Mayur Foods' stand and on Pride Valley's, which also plays host to new snack and party-oriented mini pittas, Button Bites. Snacking is the theme of several ranges. The Cookie Coach Company is featuring its relaunched flapjacks, while Gibsons is unveiling four new low fat rolls under the Weight Watchers from Heinz brand. Bread mixes have not missed out. Australian Laucke Flour Mills is bringing a range for bread machines, including German Grain and Sweetbun flavours, as well as crackers, pastry, cake and doughnut mixes. On the indulgence side, Dawn Foods has new muffin cones ­ ice cream cakes containing sweets, and Consolidated Biscuit Co is showing its Devon brand biscuits. Turkish manufacturer Ulker features biscuits, cakes and confectionery, while Emporio Domani carries continental speciality biscuits. Eurobuns will be showing new additions to its Cakes of America range. The section is not all about bakery products. Packaging manufacturer Pactiv is showing a range of containers aimed at protecting and preserving the aesthetic appeal of fresh bakery products. Elsewhere in the show, new confectionery products include Stanleys fudge from Van Lauren, a blue bubblegum flavour for Golden Casket's Millions range, and the Duc d'O Cameo Collection from Ryne Quality Confectionery. {{FOCUS SPECIALS }}
