Glendale Frozen Foods has given late-night revellers in search of a post-pub snack some good news by revamping its frozen doner kebabs.
The Manchester-based company has relaunched its Glendale Original Doner Kebabs with an improved recipe and brighter, bolder packaging.
Each pack contains two pre-cooked kebabs comprising pitta bread, mutton doner meat and chopped cabbage as well as a sachet of hot and spicy chilli sauce, all wrapped in a microwaveable bag.
The kebabs, which can be heated in the microwave in less than three minutes, have had the price point maintained at between £1.29 and £1.49 for a two-pack despite an increase in weight from 340g to 375g.
“The relaunched product is a bigger eat and the packaging has been revamped for added impulse sales,” said MD John Mortimer. “They have always offered stockists year-round sales and bigger cash returns.”
