Willow Water has announced a new top team following its buyout by Swinton Insurance heir Brian Scowcroft.
New MD Margaret Hope, a former banker with her own financial consultancy, who helped secure the deal for Scowcroft after the company went into administration, will lead the team behind ‘miracle’ water Lakeland Willow. The brand retains listings at Sainsbury and Waitrose.
David Kearns, who has held roles at Nabisco, Golden Wonder, Wells Soft Drinks, will be the new sales director. He was MD of Chiltern Hills Mineral
Water before forming his own brokerage, Food Sellers, in 2001.
Marketing manager Austen McRoberts has worked in drinks marketing since he joined Victoria Wine in the late 1970s. After further appointments within Allied Lyons, he ran marketing at former Panda Pops maker Hall & Woodhouse until setting up as an industry consultant in 1994.
Mike Wheawell has been appointed financial director.
