Landmark has confirmed it is searching for a new marketing director. The cash and carry buying group announced two weeks ago that MD Mike McGee and sales and marketing director Ron Colley were leaving to form a new business called Smartertrader. Deputy managing director Martin Williams was promoted to MD as part of the resulting reshuffle at Landmark. And Williams said the marketing director's post was a key role within Landmark head office. Meanwhile, finance director Andrew Thewlis will take on a wider role that includes looking after IT. John Searle has been appointed senior trading controller with responsibility for licensed and tobacco products. He rejoins Landmark after seven years with T&S Stores. In addition, Richard Booth has been promoted to senior trading controller with responsibility for grocery and non-food. Landmark said three more appointments would be made soon. {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
