Bakery product manufacturer Anthony Alan Foods has appointed Carl Le Neveu to the newly-created role of commercial director.
He will manage new product development and trading agreements at the company, which is based in Barnsley, Yorkshire.
Additionally, he will oversee relations with suppliers and seek to expand the company’s supply base. The business holds the licence for 18 Weight Watchers lines and outsources manufacturing to seven companies. Le Neveu will also be involved with the company’s international business.
His responsibilities were previously shared by the sales director and technical director.
He has joined from Kluman & Balter, the bakery importer and distributor, and has 20 years’ experience in the bakery sector, which has included roles in manufacturing, sales, marketing and distribution.
