Logistics specialists NFT has secured a deal to distribute M&S sandwiches on behalf of major own-label supplier Uniq.
As part of the three-year deal, NFT, the former distribution arm of Northern Foods, will handle 60% of M&S's sandwich volume. It will be responsible for the daily delivery of 250,000 sandwiches to M&S stores nationally within hours of production.
"We have challenging targets but I am positive that NFT will enhance the strategic partnership in the food-to-go arena between M&S and Uniq," said NFT sales and marketing director Dale Fiddy.
