Dr Trefor Campbell has stepped down as non-executive chairman of poultry and food processor Moy Park. He was MD until January and became chairman to help bed in replacement Nigel Dunlop. His "inspired stewardship" over 30 years would be remembered as the company moves forward under the ownership of the Marfrig Group, said Dunlop.

PayPoint has appointed Peter Brooker to the newly created position of head of corporate affairs. He was previously public affairs director at Experian.

Simon Puckey has joined Levercliff sales and marketing consultancy as its account director for foodservice. He was previously head of commercial sales at Woodward Foodservice, and has worked for Brakes and 3663 First For Foodservice.

Richard Palmer has been appointed to the new position of chief executive of Borderfields, which produces cold-pressed rapeseed oil. He brings 40 years of food industry experience.

Steve Rowley is to join retail technology provider Torex as CEO. Rowley replaces Mike Greenough, who is stepping into the executive chairman role.

Thierry's, a wine importer that supplies the multiples, has promoted Marie Knight and Claire Sheppard as heads of trading, tasked with developing and delivering strategy for existing and new channels. Nikki Fletcher has been promoted to the newly created role of general manager .

Logistics firm Oakland International, which works with grocery businesses including Spar, has appointed Paul Smith as operations manager. His 20-year career in the industry has given him extensive knowledge and experience of warehouse, depot and distribution management.

The Marine Stewardship Council has elected Knut Vartdal to sit on the board. Vartdal has extensive experience of the Norwegian fishing industry, having previously held government positions including under-secretary of state at the ministry of fisheries, and director general of fisheries. He is chairman of the board of directors at Vartdal Fiskeriselskap AS, Vartdal Seafood AS and AS Ramoen.
