Pig prices in Europe are on the rise, according to the latest market data.
The average European price at the start of February rose to more than £1.20 per kg for the first time since last November.
Meanwhile, UK prices have remained relatively stable and as a result of this, the premium between the home and import price has narrowed to less than 25p per kg.
