Two batches of Rajah curry powder, sold by BE International Foods, have been withdrawn from sales after they were found to contain the illegal food dye Sudan 1.

The Food Standards Agency said that the affected products were Rajah Premium Hot Curry Powder and Rajah Premium Curry Powder in 100g and 425g tins or 400g packets with best before dates up to and including June 2008.
