Geoff Eaton has been appointed chief executive officer of Uniq.
Eaton joins from international service business ISIS Research, where he was chief executive.
Prior to this he was with engineering company Tomkins, where he held numerous roles including three years as head of corporate development and two years as executive vice president for the Gates Corporation, based in the US. He also spent three years as an executive director for food group RHM.
Eaton replaces former chief executive Bill Ronald, who left the group in March after a strategic review concluded that new leadership skills were required to drive Uniq’s new business strategy, which saw it abandon plans to integrate its three core businesses in the UK, Germany and France.
Nigel Stapleton, chairman of Uniq, said: “Geoff will bring highly relevant management, commercial and corporate development experience, with a successful track record in corporate transactions.”
