Dean Towey has become Napolina's marketing manager to raise the brand's profile and increase distribution of its ranges of canned tomatoes, cooking sauces, pasta and olive oils.
Towey said: "I will be responsible for the strategic direction of Napolina and one of my priorities is to encourage growth by improving distribution of the full range in retail and foodservice markets.
"I will also be responsible for introducing new products and communicating the benefits of the brand through PR, promotions and other strategies."
Towey was previously brand manager for hot beverages at Nichols Foods for three years. His remit included the Masterfoods' licensed Galaxy and Maltesers hot chocolate drinks. Prior to that he was sales promotion executive for Co-op buying group CRTG.
