Twinings everyday tea

Impulse-channel distribution of Twinings tea is now being handled exclusively by SHS Sales & Marketing.

Twinings said it had grown ahead of the tea market - at 13.4% value growth compared with a 1.4 decline in category sales [Nielsen 52 w/e 12 October 2013] - by responding to consumer demand for healthier, quality teas, and was now looking to exploit this fully in impulse.

The distribution deal follows SHS working with Twinings’ ABF stablemates including Jordans and Ryvita. Twinings had previously managed UK impulse distribution in-house.
