Product development director Pasta Reale A key figure in the development of the UK's £115m fresh pasta market, Lopalco runs Britain's biggest fresh pasta business.She was born in 1940 and grew up in poverty as a tenant farmer's daughter in Treviso, Italy, leaving school at 11. She came to this country with the aim of improving her English, becoming a dining room maid at Eton College and an au pair for Frank Muir.
