PepsiCo has pulled an advert for its new Walkers Baked crisps and replaced it with those it showed for its standard lines after an anti-crisp campaign by the British Heart Foundation.

The advert, due to air this week, shows thousands of tugboats hauling Britain across the Atlantic to Jamaica and cuts to Gary Lineker in a hammock on a beach under the London skyline. Last month the BHF claimed children's one-pack-a-day crisp habit meant they were 'drinking' five litres of cooking oil a year. PepsiCo denied the switch was related to this but admitted it needed to reinforce the improved health credentials of Walkers.
