Wall's has updated the packaging on its smoked and unsmoked bacon ranges, applying the new Wall's design introduced on its sausages in September.

The redesigned packaging, which retains the familiar red for smoked bacon and blue for unsmoked, will feature the Wall's heraldic crest and handwritten 'Wall's' script.

The packaging had been designed to emphasise the bacon's quality and draw upon the brand's heritage, according to Kellie Chapple, managing director of Ziggurat Brands. "We felt that the brand had evolved but lost what it stood for," she added.
