Chase Distillery is entering the cider market.
Willy’s Cider (rsp: £2.80) launched this week and had already attracted “significant” attention from the trade, said founder William Chase, who has produced cider for four years but has previously used it only as a base ingredient for apple vodka and Williams Elegant Gin.
The cider would highlight the provenance of the spirits and provide incremental income, Chase added.
