Allied Domecq Spirits & Wine (UK) has appointed Paul Woodward director of Champagne, wines and fortified wine brands. He will be responsible for the strategic development of brands such as Mumm, Harvey's Bristol Cream and Cockburn's port. Woodward, who will report to the company s marketing director Cathryn Sleight, came from Seagram where he was global marketing controller for Martell Cognac. Before that he headed United Biscuits' brand innovation team, managing the re-launch of the Jaffa brand in the UK. Sleight said: "We are delighted Paul has chosen to join the ADUK team. "His appointment is a clear demonstration of our desire to attract and build first rate marketing capability behind our Champagne, wine and fortified wine brand portfolio." {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
