A Best-one convenience store has been transformed into fictional fascia RightBuyU for a new BBC One drama.

Five-part series The Syndicate, which will hit screens in April, follows five workers at a Leeds discount supermarket who win £18m on the mythical Mercury Millions lotto. Camera crew and cast - including Timothy Spall and Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page - descended on Palvinder and Rapinder Pama’s store in West Park, Leeds for filming this month.

“I’ve never experienced so many bodies within the shop and all the customers are intrigued,” said Palvinder Pama.
