A £10m investment in a poultry processing plant in North Wales has been given the green light, paving the way for the creation of 150 new jobs at the former First milk Maelor creamery near Wrexham.
Plans by Maelor Poultry, part of Midlands-based Salisbury Poultry, were approved by Wrexham County Borough Council planning committee this week. The new plant is expected to be open within 12 to 18 months.
