A protein-enriched coconut water has secured listings with Ocado and Holland & Barrett.
CocoPro, aimed at 18 to 35-year-olds, contains 20g of whey protein per 330ml pack. Two variants - coconut, and coconut & pineapple - go on sale this month (rsp: £2.75).
“Increasingly, consumers are demanding high-protein products that don’t compromise on taste or quality,” said CocoPro operations director Rory Lawson, a former Scottish rugby international.
