Mapa Spontex is launching a new range of microfibre cloths.
The supplier is delisting its existing three microfibre lines and from June will be rolling out four new cloths designed to clean specific areas of the home. Each will be available individually (rsp: £2.99) and as part of a cleaning kit (rsp: £4.99)
Three cloths - All Purpose, Bathroom and Kitchen - have a 3D weave that Mapa Spontex said has not been seen before in the UK and which can remove 99% of bacteria, while the Window cloth has a honeycomb texture to remove streaks and smears.
The UK microfiber sector is worth £10.4m and is up 9.5% year on year [IRI 52w/e 21 March 2015], and the supplier – which holds a 28% market share - said there was untapped growth potential for innovative products.
