Premium ice lolly brand Pops is launching two alcoholic popsicles.

Frosé contains half a glass of rosé wine blended with raspberries. It has abv of 4.3% and offers 30 calories per 80ml pop. It is joined in the freezer aisle by the vodka-filled Watermelon Martini with an 4.8% abv and 50kcals (rsp: £5.99/3x80ml).

Pops has also added one non-alcoholic popsicle, Chilly Mango, with 51kcals (rsp: £3.49/3x80ml).

The Frosé variant was designed to capitalise on trends for frozen rosé cocktails that emerged in the US and Australia, said the brand’s co-founder James Rae. “Last year saw people creating their own take, and we couldn’t resist making our own.”
