Tesco has launched a ‘without fuss’ prepared frozen fruit range to save shoppers time.
It has taken hard-to-prepare foods, such as pomegranate, and frozen them in a bid to save shoppers the hassle of preparation. The range includes diced beetroot (rsp: £1/500g) and coconut (rsp: £2/300g), watermelon chunks (rsp: £2/500g) and seeded pomegranate (rsp: £2/300g). Available now, all of the products come in resealable packs.
In the past year, demand for bags of ready-prepared frozen fruit slices at Tesco had soared by 35%, the retailer said. The launch follows the rollout of Tesco’s peeled and halved frozen avocados 18 months ago.
