Importer World Beers has secured the exclusive UK distribution rights for Italian beers Na Biretta Chiara and Dammenipa.
The ales from artisan brewery Birradamare are being rolled out this week to the off-trade following a launch in the on-trade earlier this month.
Na Biretta Chiara is 4.9% abv, pitched as a “full-taste brew with a clean and crisp taste”, while the 5% abv Dammenipa is described as “more of a session-able ale” featuring a “feisty, floral and fruit-filled nose”.
The duo would complement the “finest Italian cuisine”, said World Beers MD Peter Karsten, adding that the artisanal brewing going on in Italy was “incredible at present”.
The Birradamare beers join the likes of Lazy Mutt, Huber, DAB and low-alcohol brand Clausthaler in the World Beers stable.
