Discounter Ugo Stores made its TV debut this week when its Blackburn store was featured on Channel 4’s hit TV show Come Dine With Me.
Contestant Vicki Fairbrother shopped at the store for her meal of Sticky Ribs with Coleslaw, Sexy Steak and Chunky Chips, Banging Banoffee Cake - and numerous bottles of wine.
Ugo, formed in January 2011, said the store had been featured for its “bargain ingredients” and wished Vicki good luck.
