Male skincare brand Bulldog scored a real coup this year when it entered that last bastion of masculinity, Australia. With sales of its grooming sales doing well down under, the brand is now planning to unleash more products in the region, with blokes in New Zealand next in line for a Bulldog makeover later this year.

Bulldog has been flying the flag for British male grooming products in more exotic foreign climes since it was let loose on the Swedish market three years ago. And still its biggest export market, in February, Bulldog used Sweden to successfully trial an eye roll-on for men.

In the meantime, the brand’s international expansion has continued at a blistering pace, with the range of paraben-free skincare products hitting markets as far-flung as Japan and the US, where it snared a lucrative deal with Whole Foods Market.

Maybe this is what is meant by a Bulldog spirit.
