Small Irish suppliers will soon find it easier to gain listings in Budgens and Londis stores following a new supply chain agreement between Musgrave Group and logistics firm Oakland International.
Under the scheme, Musgrave will collect products from suppliers anywhere in Ireland and consolidate stock in its Fonthill warehouse near Dublin.
Oakland will then ship the stock to Musgrave’s UK depot in the Midlands, from where orders will be picked for delivery into Budgens and Londis.
