Wincanton is poised to make up to 150 staff redundant next month as Musgrave ends its contract with the logistics provider in Ireland.

Wincanton, which had operated a depot for the Irish wholesale giant in Dublin for three years, said the jobs were out for consultation because Musgrave had decided not to renew its contract.

Musgrave said it would “ensure the optimum use of the existing network” and hire 134 new staff across its Irish depots.
