Maldon Salt Company is celebrating its 130th anniversary with a Royal Warrant of Appointment to the Queen.

The accolade, held by about 850 British businesses, entitles the company to display the Royal arms on all products. The mark would be integrated and used on all its packaging, said the company, which is one of only four original salt manufacturers in England.

“Both our anniversary and the warrant are huge milestones for Maldon,” said MD Steven Osborne.
