New Zealand wine brand Brancott Estate is launching packaging featuring interactive digital content.

The range will get a new logo and label featuring the Brancott vineyard where the original Marlborough sauvignon blanc was first planted.

From the end of the month, consumers will be able to download an Android or iPhone app via a QR code on bottles. Consumers who view one of the revamped bottles using the app can access digital content, including tasting notes and an augmented reality flight with a New Zealand falcon.

Pernod Ricard has also launched an iPhone app under the Havana Club rum brand that offers a guide to bars, clubs and restaurants in Havana.
