Seachill is launching a raft of NPD for its fast-growing Saucy Fish Company brand in a bid to attract tuna fans and singletons.

The first Saucy Fish Co tuna product - seasoned tuna with sweet soy & chilli (£5 for a pack of two) - will go on sale on 16 April, joining the existing cod, haddock, salmon, sea bass and king prawn products.

Seachill has also introduced single-portion packs under the Saucy Fish name to broaden the appeal to single-person households. Previously, all Saucy Fish Co products had been in two-portion packs only. Three one-portion SKUs went into Sainsbury’s Local stores at the end of March - seabass with beurre blanc & dill dressing, salmon with chilli, lime & ginger, and smoked haddock with Davidstow Cheddar & chive sauce. The products, branded ‘1 Perfect Portion’, are sold for £3 each, or £5 for 2.

Seachill will also add to the existing range of Saucy Fish Co products, launching a new salmon and red pesto dressing bake-in-the-bag product on 16 April (rsp: £4). A salmon, lime & jalapeño glaze variant (rsp also £4) will follow on 28 May.

Seachill said both would be marketed as ideal for outdoor eating.
