Holland’s is launching what it has claimed are the first microwaveable frozen sausage rolls and steak slices.
The company said the snacks’ “unique” packaging would crisp the scotch puff pastry on the products as they cooked from frozen in two to four minutes. Priced at £1, they launch into Tesco next month. Holland’s plans to extend the range later in the year.
In 2010, Pukka Pies launched its 3½ Minute range of frozen microwaveable pies.
