What was your first-ever job? It was during high school as a salesperson at a popular teenage clothing store at the mall in the US. I didn’t enjoy folding the clothes but I loved my employee discount and I ended up spending most of my paycheck on the clothes!

What’s been your worst job interview? Early in my career, I went into a serious case study interview without advance notice or any preparation. I fumbled through and never heard from the company again.

What was the first music single you bought? MC Hammer’s U Can’t Touch This. ‘Hammer time’ was a pop culture phenomenon.

How do you describe your jobs to your mates? I tell my friends I’ve traded in corporate law to sell coffee - and never been happier!

What is the most rewarding part of your job? I love talking to Press’d fans who are coffee lovers, talented professionals, fitness enthusiasts and globe trotters, and hearing how Press’d helps make their active day even better.

What is the least rewarding part? The painful job of staying on top of the bills and expenses. It’s way more fun to be out selling and building the brand, but it’s got to be done.

What is your motto in life? We only regret the things we don’t do.

If you were allowed one dream perk, what would it be? Flying business class everywhere.

Do you have any phobias? Water. Specifically being submerged in it - so no diving for me.

If you could change one thing in grocery, what would it be? When launching a new brand, it is a real challenge to connect with retail buyers to get your product on shelves. The entire listing process is in need of innovation.

What luxury would you have on a desert island? My iPhone. I’m an addict!

What animal most reflects your personality? A bird - I love flying freely.

What’s your favourite film and why? The Shawshank Redemption because it explores themes of hope and salvation - and has some awesome quotes! Morgan Freeman is amazing in it.

Which celebrity would you like to work with and why? Jon Stewart, former Daily Show host, because he is the funniest and sharpest guy around.
