Punk IPA

BrewDog is set to give out a million free pints of its flagship Punk IPA with what it claims is the world’s biggest-ever sampling campaign.

The Scottish brand is inviting drinkers to sign up via its website to receive a barcode that can be scanned at any BrewDog bar for a free pint. However, consumers must agree to receive BrewDog’s marketing emails.

The move was “a new front in the battle for good beer” said BrewDog co-founder and CEO James Watt. “The millions of people who call Punk IPA their favourite beer cannot be wrong. That’s why we’re certain a million more will join after experiencing their first pint of Punk.”

BrewDog recently completed work on its dedicated sour beer facility, The Overworks, with its first fruit-infused sour beers expected to hit supermarkets by Easter in 500ml bottles.
